Spotify is a commercial music streaming service which now has finally hit Asia. Spotify provides millions of tracks online for millions of listener around the globe to stream their favorite music.
Users are able to stream their music via the iPhone, Android, Blackberry, a web-based player, OS X, Windows and Linux.
Here is the guide on how to install Spotify in Kubuntu 13.04.
1. Go to your Muon Package Manager. Click on the Settings > Configure Software Sources then insert your password. Click on the Others Software tab and then click on Add. You should be looking exactly the same as the screen capture below.

Key in the code as below:
deb http://repository.spotify.com stable non-free
2. Launch Konsole and type in the command as below to add the Spotify Repo Key:
sudo apt-key adv –keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com –recv-keys 94558F59

3. Once the Repo Key has been completed, run the sudo apt-get update and install as shown below in Konsole:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install spotify-client
There you go! Once the installation is complete, you should be able to run the Spotify and enjoy your music streaming with your Kubuntu.
